Dorian Wagner

Proud cat lady and founder of CatLadyBox, the subscription box for cat ladies and their cats. One of my missions is to help kick the "negative" crazy cat lady stereotype to the curb -- we're not crazy, just crazy about cats! For as long as I can remember, I've been doing things to help cats. I founded Santa Paws Drive, an annual online holiday toy and donation drive for shelter animals, and we raised more than $55,000 for homeless animals. I blogged for years at YourDailyCute.com, which led to me starting the Cute Transport Network, a more than 800-volunteer-strong cat transport network to get cats from shelters to forever homes all over the country. Through the blog's readers and transport network, we helped save more than 450 cats over four years. Now I spend my time volunteering for local rescues, helping them fundraise and spread the word to get more cats rescued and adopted.

Full Name (Including Embarrassing Second Names): Dorian Wagner. I hate any shortened version of my name (no Dori, please, and especially no Dor), but for nearly my entire time in high school my friends and family insisted on calling me Doe. To this day, my parents still pull it out every now and then.

Location: I live on the beach in South Florida. You can see the ocean from my balcony, and you can even hear it when you're lying on my couch. Every morning when I wake up I'm grateful, and the beauty of it all never gets old!

Where You Can Find Me on the Internet: If you do a Google image search for "crazy cat lady," my picture comes up. I'm serious. It's a badge of honor at this point.

What I Do for Fun: When I'm not doing something cat-related, you can find me on the beach in complete awe of nature and the ocean, at the gym, at the movies, or generally just enjoying all the wonderful things life has to offer. Life is good!

The Furry Members of My Household Are: I have three cats, Pimp, Moo, and Phantom. Pimp is going on 17 years old, and my little man. Why Pimp? I got him when I was in college, and we were four girl roommates … so clearly he was our Pimp. Moo is a cow-cat (he has spots!) who showed up on my back porch years ago and camped out for three weeks until I broke down, realized I'd be totally crushed if he stopped showing up, and brought him in to be an official part of our family. He is my cuddle bug and never leaves my side. Phantom is our resident hell-raiser. He's also the most affectionate, friendly, attention-needy cat you'll ever meet. He's a foster failure, and I can't imagine what life was like without him here.

My Guilty Pleasures Are: I do enjoy wine. And cookies. And if you value your guacamole, do not put it anywhere near me or it will be gone. I also really like listening to oldies kind of folk rock. Maybe I was born in the wrong generation.

What I Want to Be When I Grow Up: I want to be deliriously happy. I want to be the better half of one of those old couples who still hold hands when they walk down the street. I want to inspire millions of people to make a difference in animals' lives, and I want to make a difference in a million animals' lives. And I want to do all of this without ever getting wrinkles or sagging. It's possible, no?
