Arrival Story:
My kitty mama and auntie were living outside and hanging out at the house of this nice family who liked to feed and care for them. The nice lady and her mama were able to catch auntie Tabby before she had my cousins, but Mama was elusive. The nice ladies didn't catch her in time, so Mama found a nice lil spot to settle in. The nice younger lady went hunting for us, because she knew Mama musta had us, cuz she was skinny again. She found us around a week later. We were nestled in a brick oven in the neighbors yard. Mama didn't realize it wasn't a safe place. The ladies gathered us up and brought us into their home, with Mama (they finally caught her!). We were all covered in soot! Those rotten neighbors started up the oven the next day. We woulda been kitten fricassee if it weren't for those ladies! Now young lady is Mummy and her mama is Nana. They gave us a nice home and took care of us when we got really sick, and they love us. Mummy loves us like she was a real cat!!

Bio:
Since I was found, and my fur fluffed out, everyone said I looked like Chewbaca. if you see baby pix of me, you'll see why lol.. so, I got named Chewy, in honor of this likeness.. now if only I knew who the heck Chewbaca was... anyways, when we were about 2 months old, all of us, me and my brother and sister (the other brother, Itty, had already found a new human girl to love him), plus my 4 cousins, all got very very ill, very quickly. Cousins were taken away and and healed up and given a new home. My sister and brother were taken to be fostered while they healed. I stayed with Mummy, who nursed me back to health. We still have a little trouble with our eyes, because the infection was so bad, but we are now healthy!
