Scott Metzger’s cartoons appear on greeting cards, in magazines, and various other outlets. His work has been featured by Bored Panda, DeMilked, Country Living Magazine, Woman’s World Magazine, and shared online by millions of people, including Star Trek’s George Takei, singer-songwriter Janis Ian, and Animal Planet’s Jackson Galaxy.

His first book of cat cartoons, Being Awesome Is Exhausting, was listed in Country Living Magazine’s list of Best Pet Gifts for the Holidays for 2016. His second book of cat cartoons, 50 Ways to Wake Your Human, was released on November 2, 2020. His first book of dog cartoons, Squirrel! Bacon! Ball! And Other Distractions, was released on November 18, 2022. His most recent book of cat comics, Only Birders in the Building, was released on October 21, 2024.

Scott lives in Northern California with his wife, daughter, son, two cats, and a dog.
