3. Helping Shelters Help Cats
     Helping Shelters Help Cats program is currently funding three feline health research studies aimed at reducing stress and increasing adoption rates. These grants are made possible through an anonymous challenge gift in which the donor will match every dollar given to this program up to $500,000, for a potential total of $1 million.

4. Current cat health studies
     Research funded by MAF has led to many of the medical breakthroughs that are now the gold standard in veterinary care. Since many feline diseases can be treated and easily managed if caught early, we've focused on improving diagnostics, preventions and treatments.
