I recently found a little Manx male, about 4 months old, in a shelter and decided I had to have him. I wanted to be absolutely 100% sure I was committing to the right cat (since it is a lengthy commitment) so I checked a couple of other shelters. I found another DSH male kitty also about 4 months old at another shelter that I really like. I could never convince myself to say no to Oscar (the Manx) but now I'm wondering if I can save this other kitty also. He has been at the shelter for over a month and his time is almost up
Can 2 rescue cats from different litters that are both male get along in the same home? I can't stand the idea of the DSH kitty being put down just because no one would give him a chance. I really want to adopt him also but I'm worried that he and Oscar may not be able to live together happily. I know people have problems sometimes with 2 male dogs in the same home and I'm not sure if that applies to cats also. Anyone have any advice?
