|Did your vet do a CBC and Wellness blood panel, and send it to Antech? Turnaround is 24 hrs. The advantage of doing this, is they have specialists there, that help your vet with diagnosis and treatment, and can recomend other tests. If not, I would insist on it, or ask to be sent to an internal medicine specialist, which is who would be helping your vet, if you had the blood panel sent to Antech.
This is what my vet would of done, day 1, and she has done it, and been right on the phone with the internal medicine specialist, they saved her life, my kitty, not the vets.
Took one of my kitties in yesterday, with an unknown illness, on an ER basis, because he did not eat his supper or his breakfast. First thing she did, was an x-ray, sent blood panel to Antech, and gave him sub q fluids. They diagnosed his issue, put him on the right meds, and he is feeling much better today, and eating all this breakfast and supper.
Best of luck.
