 | |  | | Hi! And yes, my master loves dogs. In fact, she's been a "dog" person most of her life. I'm her first cat! She loves me dearly. She had dogs all her life, but no cats until recently, because her dad was ailurophobic. However, she finally convinced her dad to get a cat when he fell in love with me, because I'm so friendly to everyone. Her mother has a severe form of MS and she is always either in bed or in a wheelchair. She can only move her head and part of her right hand. Her Dad knew that she needed a companion, and dogs were too high-maintenance, because you have to pick up the poop in the backyard in all weather. She mistakenly told her dad that I was a ragdoll, so he started looking online for ragdolls. He found one for adoption nearby, but I think that cat was too aloof. It was not nearly as friendly as I am. But her dad got him anyway. He said that the cat was mostly for her mom's benefit, and the cat would always sleep on her mom anyway. Recently, he got out the front door and ran away. He was gone for 9 days! When he finally returned, he was skinnier and a lot friendlier. I'm glad for her mom's sake that he returned.
