Hello ! This year I have been apart from my cats for a total of six months. I was first gone for a whole month during the summer. When I came back, I realized that my youngest one gained an incredible amount of weight. It is probably due to my mom and brother who over feds him. I then have left them for another four months ( studying abroad ) and whenever I Skype my cats, the youngest one looks even bigger! I will be returning within the next few weeks back to them, and was wondering what food should I buy for him to lose weight and how much should I feed him? Earlier in the year, the youngest one had stomach problems, and was throwing up every week. I went to the vet numerous times and he was put on gastrointestinal Royal Canin cat food. He eats very fast and doesn't chew the food, after he finishes eating he eats my older cats food aswell.

Please help !!

Bruno is doing much better, he looks like he was never sick lol. I took him to the vet and explained his symptoms and also asked if it could be IBD. The vet took a fecal sample and saw that his poop has mucus, a little of blood and some intestinal cells (forgot the term he used). He said its most likely IBD (bruno just turned 1 year old) and he gave me 0.5ml Cimetidine liquid and 250mg Metronidazole. Bruno is also on a prescribed diet, which he seems to like better then science hills.

The vet also found a hernia, which I need to fix in a month after everything is okay.

Thanks again for your post and sorry for your loss frown

hello!

Bruno has had diarrhea and vomiting within the last week (not sure when it started, probably wednesday). His poop has never been consistent and he always had some pooping issues (the vets found nothing when I took him in). Just recently he has been pooping weird, its a bit more watery and yellow and very smelly .

He also threw up 3 times this week but he throws up randomly. He's a fast eater so he doesn't really swallow his food and he likes to gobble his food and my other cat. He threw up earlier today but I don't think he ate too fast because I was watching him.

He is still very active and still has his appetite. I have an appointment on tuesday, but does anyone have any ideas whats wrong with him?

I keep checking on his "tattoo" and since my other cat never got this done. I am not sure if its healing correctly.

As you can see there is some yellow crust around it. Is this normal?

I also took my cat to the vet 3 weeks ago because he kept throwing up out of no where. When he throws up, it looks like he doesn't bother chewing his food and just swallows it whole. Today i saw he threw up in the bathroom, all clumpy like he hasn't chewed his food.

Im going to wait to see if he throws up again before i bring him to the vet. I am just worried about him since sometimes he just sits on the floor all crouched up. But he plays a lot with are other cat and still seems to have an appetite.

Hello, my 7 months old cat was finally neutered this tuesday. (I took him to the humane society)

I was checking on his stitches, and I was wondering if it looks okay? I'm not sure why they made an incision on his abdomen.
Hes been eating and using the bathroom normally. Sometimes he is a bit anti-social.

Does it look like its healing okay?
