Hi there!
I was diagnosed with diabetes on March ' 05 and my mum and human sister have been feeding me a prescribed dry food - Royal Canin. They usually give me some boiled fish as a Sunday treat. I know they visited the feline diabetes web recently and learnt that a dry food diet is not the best option for a diabetic cat. They have found out that my dry food contains soya, maize flour, barley and wheat gluten.
shock They donīt know what to do. They used to buy me some canned food - Whiskas,Friskies and other well-known brands- from time to time but I sometimes ended with a stomach upsetred face
Should I tell them to feed me with fresh home cooked food?
