I am 20 years old, my mom and dad have had me since I was 4 week old baby into a family with a sheltie dog named Misty and a few birds. I was a gift for mom, because she was sad for losing her dog Foxy. Foxy and Misty got married when mom and dad did and long story going back from there. To make things shorter, I have lived with Misty, July (pigeon), Georgie (parakeet), Blue Boy (parakeet), Ersala (parakeet), Muffin (Sharpie/Shepherd female), Callie (female feline), Storm (Catster female feline), Three (Dogster female canine), Red (Dogster female canine).
I have raised Muffin and Three and Red and Storm from babies and watched Muffin die in a seizure. I watched Misty die. I found Callie a home. Still play with Storm, Three and Red.
Life is wonderful with its happy times and sad times.
I've been with mom and dad 4/5ths of their marriage. Still going strong, but my whiskers are white and I'm alittle skinny and my eyesight is growing dim. Catch me on Olde Furts raising cane most days. I love you all and your guardians. Check on me once in awhile to know I'm still kickin. But most of all, Love. smile

Hi, at a month old the kitty is wanting to learn what is right and wrong. You are now the Mother sort-of-speak. I've found that I pick it up, hold it firmly to my chest, talk to it and let it know it isn't going to get away till I'm ready. You are the boss, not the kitty. Now, once that's established a few days of that, then start playing with the kitty with a ball or dangling kitty toy. Get its attention on to something else. This doesn't mean the kitty will rather play with someone else, they are still playing with you, but with toys. Lots of cuddling, petting, holding and talking will make a purrfect cat for you. But you need to take charge and you will have a well behaved kitty.

Juss kidding, but I do have a problem with matting fur under my chest and tummy. But my guardian can't brush me, cause my hair will fall out and I'll get too cold. I've got that older cat problem the VET said and my fur is falling out and as it slides out of my skin it gets tangled with the good fur. Don't worry it doesn't hurt me. Why do I hauler out before I take a drink, can anyone tell me that. My eyesight isn't so good, so I feel the water with my paw first to see how deep it is before I drink. Now I know you youngsters may not know bout us ole folks, but some of you have had older folks in the family.hail I'll take any advice.

Hey purfolks out there, my guardian feeds me frozen deer meat in the fall and winter months. I love it. Just a pound of frozen together venison and I eat around it as it thaws and it don't go bad that way. Then the neighbor throws me a pork chop or a steak once in awhile. I eat regular canned cat food alittle in the morning, now I'm sharing with Tabby Little. If he can chew it, he can digest it, just like I always have. Something doing right cause I'm a healthy MAMA. My tongue gets tired sometimes.laugh out loud

When you use a cloth, rinse it really well, any fabric softeners will leave residue and can be irritating to the eyes or to their digestive system when they lick themselves.kitty
