Thanks for the responses =] the red bumps were gone by the next morning so I'm guessing my cat just bit a bit too hard - (I did end up putting some 'dettol' on it too to try & prevent infection)

I'm not sure whether this post belongs here or not but here goes...

My cat bit or scratched me recently (he does this everyday actually) but this time, there's a formation of small red bumps on my hand - Does anyone know what this might be? I have about 8 bumps =\

I like Greenlee's suggestion: 'blitz' big grin anyway, here are some more:

1. delilah
2. sheila
3. yuko
4. some random ones: nunchi, furby, magic - I was thinking of giving the foster kittens these names

I think it's better to have them stay inside because it's much safer. If you let them roam freely outside they might get diseases like FIV, risk getting hit by cars & chased by dogs etc. Just get your cats some stimulating toys, a pot of cat grass and let them outside under supervision every now and again & they'll be satisfied living indoors.

Revolution's good because it gets rid of heartworm, earmites and fleas. I've tried the baths too but didn't work out very well. I don't think the bath can get rid of all of the fleas and flea eggs and fleas don't drown immediately in water - they can hop back onto your pet. If you're combing your cat for fleas though, put a bit of dettol in the water you use to drown the fleas, it kills them straight away but don't use dettol on your pet as it irritates their skin. Be careful with the pet shampoo too because pets might be sensitive to some of them.

Hmm, I think it's 50% dry, 50% wet? & kneading is fine, means that they're content =]

Pepsi doesn't knead anymore! I think it has something to do with me though - I pushed him away once and stopped him from kneading. I didn't know what it was & what it meant - very stupid of me frown

Here's a recipe I got in an email from Dr Andrew Jones:

"At Home Cat Food Recipe
--------------------------------

High Protein Recipe (based on a 9 lb Adult Cat)

Broiled Pork 1/2 cup
Cooked Peas 1/4 cup
Vegetable Oil 1 teaspoon
One A Day Multivitamin/multimineral Supplement 1/4 tablet
Taurine tablet (1 gram tablet with 500 mg taurine) 1/4 tablet
Morton Lite Salt Mixture 1/4 teaspoon
CaltrateŽ 600 1/2 capsule

Cook Protein, Carbohydrate and Vegetables.

These recipes represent the amount to be fed per day and can be
fed in multiple meals.

More than one day's worth of the food can be prepared ahead of
time and refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 weeks.

Prior to serving each meal and after warming, add the appropriate
amount of supplement to the food.

Mix thoroughly. Heating supplements that contain vitamins can
destroy their effectiveness.

The amount of supplement(s) shown above is the daily amount.
Therefore, please divide the amount listed by the number of
meals given a day."

By the way, if anyone else reads his stuff, tell me what you think about it please smile
