Those are some good ideas. My moms had not thought of baby food, or cutting up the raw nuggets. Thanks everyone!

My mom keeps trying to feed me raw because I have diabetes and raw would be better for me. My fur family and I will eat it the first night, and then forget it, no more. My mom even tried mixing it with Tiki cat, but nope, not touching the stuff.

Any suggestions?

Neutering and spaying is the way to go for your bun these days, especially if you want your bun to use the litter box. Unfixed rabbits like to mark their territory and can be really awful as adolescents.

BamBam, please look at my catster page. I am good friends with free-range Brinkley the Bunny Rabbit. Brinkley came into our lives as a big bunny (5lbs). None of us saw her as prey. We thought, and still believe, that she is a deformed cat with a tragic illness which causes the loss of limbs and results in ear elongation. We feel very sorry for her.

As your bunny is very young, he is also probably fearless, which will help him get along with the cats. You meowmy must teach you that the bunny is someone to respect. You will also likely have communication problems. For instance, Brinkley thought it was okay to hop under me and bump me with her nose on my belly. I was very startled and told her this.

You are welcome to pawmail me. I also suggest your new bunny friend create a profile on www.bunspace.com Many buns on bunspace are free roamers and live happily with other pets in the home.

Cackle, I can never get out with less than a $400 bill no matter how many teeth I have removed! Admittedly, I go to a feline specialist, so it is a bit pricey.

Well, I puked up a giant hairball Sunday afternoon and was diagnosed with a viral infection in the eye by the vet Monday morning. Hopefully my odd behavior will soon dissipate.

Cat Health > Swallowing hard?

Along with the rest of my family, I moved about a week ago. We just moved a block away so as moves go, it really shouldn't have been that traumatic. The others cats seemed to bounce back, but my moms noticed that I still seem depressed and am not cleaning myself as well. Then today, my moms noticed I am swallowing really hard. It is rather strange. I am sitting there on Momma Amy's lap, purring, and then suddenly she can hear me swallow. Then I continue purring for a while, then another hard swallow. Anyone have any ideas? I have an appointment at 8:30 am on Monday which was the earliest my moms could get me in. But if there is something they could do for me before then, they would like to know. I've hear murmurings that I might get a bath tomorrow. Gasp...

My mom was doing her weekly cleaning of my Drinkwell 360. When she put it back together, the motor would not work. The Drinkwell is less than a year old so I would not expect it to stop. Anyone have trouble with their Drinkwell 360 motor and have any suggestions? Can I order a new motor without purchasing a whole new Drinkwell 360?

Neva, I did also have problems with crystals in my urine. I wonder now if it was too much of the fish variety of Tiki Cat. All the more reason to move over to raw.
