Don't feed raw that's been sitting out for three hours. That's quite unsanitary. Offer it- if she doesn't eat it, put it away.

I am personally not a fan of feeding raw and kibble at the same time. They digest differently and this can cause bacterial infections. I also wouldn't put a whole rat inside of a blender, as blenders tend to chop bones into shards and it would look really yucky in the end. I would get a good meat grinder instead if your cats can't eat it whole.

As far as how much they should have- a cat should be eating 2-4% of it's body weight in raw food. This (in order to be balanced) must consist of 80% meat 10% bone 5% liver and 5% other organs. These ratios are proportionate to what is found in a whole prey item. So, you can essentially just choose to feed all whole prey items. They do not need vegetables, but vegetables are often found in pre-made raw formulas.

Kittens should be eating as much as they want. An adult cat would usually be eating 2-4% of it's body weight- you can weigh the pinky mice and adjust her feeding amount accordingly.

Way to go! That's great that she has taken to raw at a young age!

Because it is so natural and healthy for cats- it's what they were born to eat. No need to say more.

I agree with several small meals a day. Natasha and Naythan eat several small meals a day and don't act hungry.

I feed my cats, Natasha and Naythan, premade raw food like Nature's Variety and Primal raw cat food. It is exactly what you described. It is healthy, unprocessed whole foods ground up and frozen into medallions or patties that you defrost and feed. Natasha and Naythan love their food and it keeps them so healthy. Natasha is nine years old and doesn't look or feel her age one bit! I highly, highly recommend premade raw food for cats who don't eat whole raw food (Natasha and Naythan), or for owners who are too squeamish to feed whole raw (you).
