Purrrrrrs for Louis and his mom! Sometimes lumps are ok, but sometimes they're not, so we are purring that Louis' is an ok one.

An update on me is in my diary. Elevated creatinine levels and anemic. Hoping that decreasing my methimazole will do the trick. If not, then it may be kidney trouble.

I go back in two weeks for a recheck on my blood.

We'll know conclusively when the blood tests come back (probably tomorrow), but it looks like everything except the drooling is because my hyperthyroid medicine is working TOO well! The drooling may be because of an infection in my mouth where my tooth may have rubbed my lip/gum, so I've got medicine for that. Yay!

Purrrraying for Merlin's family!

I have a vet appointment scheduled for Tuesday for blood tests and a general exam. I have been drooling excessively, and two nights ago there was blood in the drool. I've been on sub-q fluids for almost a year, but still am thin as a rail and everything that goes in goes through and comes out; nothing's sticking to my bones. Disoriented and not showing much interest in things. cry

We're starting something new at the restaurant. From 4:30 pm Catster time on, every Saturday, we'll have a different menu and food set out (or being served), and everyone can come have dinner. Just click the link and join us!

Today, we have pizza night. We'll be gone, because Mom has a birthday party to attend, but it's all set up for those who want to come.

There's lots of kitty treat recipes over at my group. Favorites around here are the tuna pops and the cat attack cookies. We go crazy for those!

We get Blue Buffalo, and love it! Sara Kitty doesn't do well on it, because she's so old (19!) and has a weak stomach, so she gets half that and half Meow Mix (I know, bad, but she tolerates it better).

I've written an article on how to choose good quality pet food. You can read it here.

Delyte, having hyper-T isn't sooo bad, if you stay on your meds. I have it, and I take my meds three times a day. Purrrring for you and your mom for the adjustment, getting used to daily medication (and giving it).
