the only thing we can suggest is get a second opinion from a different vet and go from there. we did that one time and it was a good thing we did.

we hope the kitten gets better.

Cat Health > Bandit is having difficulty breathing, but ONLY while purring

We would say go to Bandit's regular veterinarian. To us, it does not sound like asthma, Sammie has asthma, and when he has a attack, its a cough, but, we might be wrong. do you have a video camera or know someone who does? you can shoot a video(with sound) and take it to the vet and show them, we did that when Sammie pulled a leg muscle and the only problem he had was climbing stairs. As for trying to figure out if its asthma, our vet said he needed to be brought in within 24hrs of having a attack, they did x-rays and bloodwork.

Cat Health > Neutering?

Both my boys got neutered and neither gained weight, but when my one girl got sprayed she gained weight, the other did not, so we think its the kitty, not being a male. It would benefit them if the get fixed.

If there is a emergency vet by you, you can take him there. If you do not want to want till tuesaday, you can call around first thing Monday morning, and try to get him into another vet, sorry you are going thru this.

We would suggest taking her back to the vet ASAP. You can always go to another vet for second opinion. Did the first vet give you any medication or tell you what you need to do with her? Since she is not any better, she needs to get back to the vet. My one cat, Sammy hurt his leg and he was limping while walking and dragging it up the stairs, we get some anti-inflammation and it took about three weeks but his leg got back to normal, so sounds like you do need to get back into the vet ASAP. Keep us updated.

Depending how long you have been with your vet, I would try explaining your situation, and see if you can set up a payment plan, also, try some of the place that have been listed.

Cat Health > Kitty's sneezing & has a little eye gunk. Is it a cold or allergies, and how do I treat it?

Well, we are not vets but, we would not wait that long to take him to the vet's, because depending on what your kitty has you do not want to get worse. Keep us updated. You might want to consider starting a profile, because right now, sometimes post make it up right away, and sometimes they don't.

Do not feel bad, we have the same problem with always have to sign in. We had to sign in, just to delete a Pawmail and there are a lot of other cats that are having the same problem not being able to post pictures too. It's still a train wreck, and hopefully it will be fixed before we all have to file for social security.

All we can say is just keep an eye on her overnight and call your vet in the morning and asked them if you need to bring her in or not. If she seems to be back to normal in the morning they just might say keep an eye on her and if she gets worse bring her in. hope she feels and gets better really soon.
