All 5 of us (my whole family) went to the Bridge 2 years ago. Mom misses us, but we are fine here. Mom found a poem that describes PURRFECTLY the feeling I had when my little kitten soul left my body and traveled in the TWINKLE OF AN EYE through the atmosphere to GOD. HIGH FLIGHT Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of earth And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings, Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth Of sun-split clouds- and done a hundred things You have not dreamed of-wheeled and soared and swung High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there, I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung My eager fur through footless halls of air. Rescue, Adoption & Happy Endings > Need Feral Rescue Help in Elizabeth, PA

Sterling- Mithril Jaws-I\'ll eat- anything!     Purred: Mon Aug 22, '11 4:04pm PST  Does any kitty know of a feral cat rescue group near Elizabeth, PA. (or Pittsburgh, PA) area that will come out and rescue the cats themselves? My friend has a feral mom who has had two litters so far this spring and summer and desperately needs help in trapping the mother and kittens. Her and her neighbor are feeding them, but one kitten from the first litter was already killed by a dog, and one from this new litter was run over by a car! Kitten Corner > Help, he's biting!!

Sterling- Mithril Jaws-I\'ll eat- anything!     Purred: Sat Aug 20, '11 11:18am PST  I started out as a foster kitten with my mom too. But I bit so bad that I drew blood. I would bite mom's heels, or toes or fingers. My issue was, I WAS HUNGRY AT THE SHELTER and never had enough food! The shelter was feeding me this big dry kibble that I couldn't even get into my little mouth. That's why I was underweight in the first place and couldn't be put up for adoption and why mom took me home to foster me. I was always afraid there wasn't going to be enough food for me, and it took me awhile (couple of months at least) to grow out of it, and to not be afraid that there wasn't going to be any food. So I say, make sure your kitten has LOTS of food that he can EAT (get into his little mouth), and PLENTY OF TOYS. Please come and read my story, too. Mom ended up keeping me because she was afraid that if I bit someone at the shelter, they would kill me. I grew out of biting completely. So now I am a part of the family.
