Thanks Romeo for the advice!

BK- as I stated in my first post, Winter, my cat who had the blockage is still on wet food.......I said this already! However I give him a bit of dry mixed in once and a while, but he gets 99% wet food......my question was for Kiki not Winter.
Winter has constant check ups and urine samples taken to make sure he is ok and my vet is the one who told me it is ok to give him a bit of dry now and then so long as his main food intake is wet......which I also mix with water to a gravy like substance for more water. I trust my vet very much and Winter is doing wonderful now. And Kiki gets her share of wet herself.

Thank you for everyones advice on Merrick smile

O.k thank you, I am going to keep my eye open for the Salmon, all they had at the time was chicken and it's my first time going with this brand so I wasn't sure.
Thanks for the info!

Hey I just had a couple questions about a bag of Merrick I just bought.....I have never fed my cats this before.....my one cat is still on a wet food diet for the most part after his blockage a while back......but KIKI was eating Chicken soup for the cat lovers soul, and it seemed to give her a bit of a tummy situation where her bowls have been pretty loose for the most part....so I decided to try a new food, and picked up a bag of BG Merrick grain free chicken dry food.......after reading online it seems the Merrick Salmon would have been a better option but any thoughts on the chicken? Or anything I should know? As far as I can tell it is a decent food and not crazy expensive either. Any opinions would be appreciated, thanks

Thanks guys for your opinions way to go

Beep, yes I do feed wet also. I dont know if you remember but about a month ago my other kitty Winter had a blockage, which we got all fixed up, he is still on his prescription wet food although I now give him a bit of the chicken soup here and there cause he really misses the dry, but he gets mostly wet......Kiki though seems to really enjoy the chicken soup but ever since our scare with Winter we feed her 1 to 2 cans of wet a week, just to be safe. Even though she is female and not quite as high of a risk as males but still, that scared me way to much. Winter will never be on a dry food diet again, I will make sure he gets lots of wet.....but sneak some dry in there as well to keep him happy!
Thanks again everybody smile

Seriously????????
I wouldn't want to come to your calls either if you were just gunna get mad enough to throw me!!!!!!!!
If you get that angry at a little kitten just because she doesn't come when you call, maybe YOU should seriously consider that you have anger issues.
Just because you had a bad day, dont take it out on your kitten, it's not her fault!!! And although you say you know it was wrong, does not make it right.
I dont even understand what help you think you are gunna get from people to help your kitten come when called.....simply read your post and take a look at your anger issues and maybe you will see why she doesn't come to you.

I just picked up a bag of chicken soup for the cat lovers soul dry food......The ingredients look really good, lots of meat products, no by products.
Just wondering if anyone else feeds this and any thoughts you all may have on it?
Thanks in advance smile
