Oh dear, that is all just so very sad. Little Bitty was such a cute little sweetheart and we are so sad to hear about her problems; then to learn that she is now an angel. Such very sad news. We are so sorry for your loss U-Cat and family.
(Soft gentle tears falling). Tuffy hangs his head and closes his eyes for a moment as he thinks about his friends and whispers a little prayer that Little Bitty will now be pain free and romping through fields of nip at The Rainbow Bridge. Fly free sweetie; you will be one of the most magnificent angels in heaven when you receive your wings!

Tears here, for your loss, yet a sad smile for Little Bitty, who is gloriously alive, purrfectly healthy, and blissfully happy. We all know that the separation is inevitable, but we're never ready for it - especially in a case such as this, when someone else is responsible. But remember that Little Bitty is so happy - and she wants you to be happy for her; you WILL be reunited, and what a glorious time that will be.

She did very well to stay as long as she did; Merlin was gone in 6 months. Take all the time you need to grieve; it's a personal journey, but you need not make it alone: we're all here for you.

Gentle headbutts,
Shadow

Well said, Shadow! It is so sad that Little Bitty had to leave at such a young age, but she is well and healthy now and waiting to be joined with her other family members when their time comes. What a happy reunion that will be!!

We had a kitten that was dumped off at our place along with her little sister and 7 adult cats one winter. The adults all looked very scruffy and sickly but the kittens were beautiful. Before we could catch them, the one with long, fluffy calico colors was so sadly, hit on the road. But we caught the other one and brought her inside. We took her to the vet and he informed us that she had one of those "f" diseases (I can never keep the names straight); not the leukemia but the one that is similar to the aids virus in humans. Anyhow, he suggested that we just have her put to sleep!! Meowmy said absolutely not and
"Hazel" stayed inside and lived happily to adulthood. She was not quite a year old when she went to The Bridge but it was from some sort of a blood clot and not from the disease itself. She lived life to the very fullest and was one of the most fun kitties that we ever had. She never walked but was always on the run and always chasing something! She brought many, many laughs and happy moments and we don't regret for a second giving her that extra time to be here on earth but we sure do miss her. It is so sad when they leave us and they are so young. Just don't understand people; especially a vet suggesting having them put down when they are otherwise not sick and appear to be enjoying life to the fullest! It is always just heart breaking to lose any of our fur babies but especially the ones that are so young and so full of life one moment and then gone the next. It just doesn't seem fair!

cry I don't know how we missed this sad news about Little Bitty almost a month ago. We send belated condolences to her loving family, and hope that they are comforted in knowing that Little Bitty was loved for 19 years...more time as an earth kitty than most of us have...and that she is reunited with her dear brofur U-Cat.
