common hairless sickness?

	I have been reading some of the posts about their sick kitties. I was wondering if sneezing, coughing, and some slight breathing problems are a common health problem for these cats. I got my cat from a lady who said the cat was allergic to birds. Is that possible? We are taking him to the vet asap. No vets were open, he was my christmas present!
