CoQ10 is supposed to be beneficial for heart health for cats as well as the two-legs. Do any of you take this supplement and if so, at what doseage?

Here's a little bit of information about CoQ10 and cardiomyopathy that I read, which made me decide to get some for Blade. (I haven't given him any yet as only just getting adjusted to giving him the medications he's been put on!)

Hmmm... interesting article Blade. Thanks for sharing. It would be interesting to see if other HCM kitties have tried this and what success they have had on it? Definitely something worth looking further into smile

I agree I would be very interested to know more- I have heard of this for people, and I am big into supplements, etc. Cats are so complicated (much more than doggies I think) it is def worth some research. Me & The Dad take Mega Red, it is a krill oil to get the Omega 3 without all the fishiness of fish oil caps. I have even thought of that too. I wish that I actually saw the cardiologist that comes in for Tigger. She just makes an appt at the vet, and does the tests, leaves her findings, and I speak with the vet about it. It would be nice to actually speak with her. Since my most fav vet left, I have been kind of thinking of switching, but where to go? I know there is a cat only vet in the city of Chicago (we actually live in the outskirts). It is amlost harder than finding a new people dr.
