 | |  | | Mama says that Mr Adams is a really good writer. He gets you all worried about what's going to happen to the dogs in his story. He shows all the people working behind the scenes and how all of their actions affect what happens to the dogs. Then he dangled a carrot 37 pages from the end, and she said that was very very frustrating and she just had to holler. She finished the book though, and says that if your mom hasn't read it, and you think she can make it through the descriptions of all the experiments, and if you think she won't be totally annoyed by Adams' use of the Geordie dialect in much of the story, and if she liked Adams' writing in Watership Down (gee that's lots of 'ifs') that your mama should try it Cos. |  |  | |  |
