 | |  | | Tonight I watched "The Brain That Wouldn't Die"(1962,starring NOBODY!) A hotshot surgeon has been experimenting with transplants. His Dad,also a surgeon,tells him "You don't explore people!". With that attitude,you have to wonder how Junior was conceived,but skip it. The Hotshot's reckless (definitely not "wreckless") driving kills his fiancee,but he is able to keep her head alive,hooked up to tubes & apparently sitting in a casserole dish filled with soy sauce.(sounds yummy!) He then searches strip joints for a suitable body,but finds a pin-up model with a scar on her face & decides that her rack will do. He drugs her,takes her to his laboratory & prepares to stitch his girl's head onto the model's body,but unbeknownst to him,Headgirl has made friends with one of his previous experiments,who is locked in a closet. This critter(who looks a lot like the Pinhead from the Ramones concerts) breaks out,kills the hotshot,(a fire breaks out for no apparent reason)rescues the pinup model,& the head is cooked in her own soy sauce. The End. Dreadful. Just awful. 2 paws up! |  |  | |  |
