When I used to board Senator (at a private barn), the owners had a run-in shed alongside the barn and in the pasture to house their horse trailer. Russ had to put a board across the front, otherwise he said he would find horses squeezing between the trailer and the walls. laugh out loudbig laugh

wave Hi! Thanks for inviting me to join this group! I have Standardbred horses. Seven of them! And of the seven...I have raised five of them since birth. I did have eight...the mare of 2 of my 'babies' had to be put down in December 2007. Hedy was a trotter and her best time was 2:03. I have a pacer (Karissa) who has a mark of 1:56.3!

Sherlock, you'll have to post some pics. When we lived in Ohio they still had trotters at the fair ground race track but seems like a lot of the small fairground tracks were closing down. Where do you race at?

wave Lady Sophie...we don't race anymore. We used to stable at the Wattsburg Fairgrounds and race the fairs around that area. Hedy took her mark at The Meadows in Pittsburgh and Karissa at Northfield in Ohio. We are 'trying' to start breeding. We turned one of our studs out with one of the mares...HE was interested..SHE wasn't! Maybe she wasn't in heat...she's a hard one to read! As for posting pix....when I get more time and alittle better at the computer I'll try!
