You greeted every day with pure blue eyes.
That special meezer meow was your hello.
You had a purr that all your friends could recognize.
We never thought you would really have to go.
You were a child of the warmth and the sun,
relishing the time spent in your special yard.
Though in recent times you could no longer run,
for roadrunners and other intruders you still made it hard.
You were your mom's special girl, but also dad's too.
For twenty years you three enjoyed one another's love.
No doubt they now wonder what life will be like without you.
No worries, you will surely send down your purrs from above.
We miss you, Scooter. You were our Catster friend.
