Hello everyone.....my Mom is wondering if she should have looked into Pet Preservation after I left so suddenly, so she could have me around forever....has anyone here done this, or know someone who has?

The Websites are equally touching & ghoulish; most pet owners are thrilled to have their pet back home.

Thoughts on this?

My Momma wouldn't choose this option, personally. It's just not her thing. Most people probably think it's something only "weirdos" would do, but she doesn't feel that way. She had my Earthly body cremated and some of my ashes put into a tattoo (so did Dad), so she's not one to judge others' decisions.

Why that was a lovely thing to do!! So much more personal & lasting.

Mom thought about it some more, and it seems unreasonable to have to grieve "twice", which would certainly be the case if something bad happened to my preserved body. She could not go through that again!

They had that when some of us passed but our peoples didn't opt for it, just opted for burial and memories and what photos they had.
