Ok!! While I await the total we've raised, we knead to narrow down the gifties. Reading pawmails and meowing w/ the admins, we thought the following were a cool idea:

-art.com pic of Jen's choice (canvas as done w/ Project Picasso)
-Use some $ for medical bills
-Donate money to a shelter in memory of Simba
-sponsor a cat?

I vote for Number one I've seen the work of Picasso they have some truly gifted artists and the thought of Jen having a beautiful portrait of Simba is pawasome in my humble opinon. The can capture the real Simba so much more than a photograph can.

Hi Boogers,

I also vote for number one, the art.com portrait. I think that will be special. My vote for the rest of the money is that it goes to Jen. I don't think we need to specifiy that it's for the medical bills.

While I am a big supporter of shelters and pet sponsorships, I would rather see the $$$ go directly to the home of the honoree, like where most gifts would normally go.

Yeah I agree on the art.com as Auntie Jen was telling my mom about that. I know she wouldn't want that to be gifted yet until after the move to avoid it getting damaged--totally understand.

But yeah I think that's so far the best idea. When our mom met Picasso's mom and saw the picture? It was truly breathtaking. way to go

What is Project Picasso? I had mama check art.com and didn't see
where custom work is done. Would that be a portrait of Simba
herself or just something Jenn would pick?

Hey Kittanna! The group for Picasso was done over a year ago when he was diagnosed with Cardiomyopathy. The mom picked her favorite pic and then we had art.com put it on canvas. It looks amazing!

I spoke w/ Skeezix and art.com can still do this smile
