	Did y'all go on vacation to somewhere warm? Do you go on trips with your pawrents? We don't we get a setter and she is pretty swell. Last weekend my pawrents went on the Bow-wow & Meow Cruise along with others to benefit the Humane Society and we got to stay home and play with the sitter. What fun! We sure disturbed the house at night. Kay, (she's the sitter) thinks me and Oliver are insane! Now she wants to get 2 kitties too!

	Mom and dad don't go on trips because they don't want to leave us alone or with someone else (and they aren't into traveling much). Back before my time, when mom and dad got married they had a cat, Scooter, who had leukemia. They spent their honeymoon at a hotel in town just so they could come home twice a day and give Scooter his medicine. They also played with the dogs when they came home. Mom's brother stopped by to check on the dogs as well, but mom/dad were there for a morning and evening visit for Scooter. I think mom and dad don't trust anyone to spoil us like they do. I am not sure anyone COULD spoil us like mom and dad do! We are truly truly spoiled and we wouldn't have it any other way! I hope your pawrents had a great trip, Sammy!

	Oh I luv your pawrents. Just before they were to go to their time share in 2005, meomy didn't like the way that Hootie wuz acting, so she said he has to see the vet before we leave. Well, things got worse and he nefur came home from the vet. Of course, they canceled the time share and stayed home. Pawpaw wuz devastated as Hootie was his buddie. Meomy was furry sad too and they said NO MORE CATS. It is too hard to say goodbye. Well, heh, heh, after visiting the pet cemetary, (where they think that Hootie's ashes were spread) pawpaw made a memory book of Hootie and his pictures and when he was done. He said, OK good-by big guy. Next thing. Let's see what the Humane Society has for kittens. How, that's where the fun starts. When pawpaw walked in I grabbed him with my paw thru the cage. Hootie told me that this wuld be my new pawpaw and the rest is history!!! to you for getting a purrfect family too!!!

	WOW. It is past the middle of February already! Mom says time is flying, but I don't get it. I don't see it either. She says it is just an expression. Sheesh. Humans... We have had thunderstorms on and off today since midnight! The backyard looks like a swamp. Mom put the feral kitty food on a wooden plank under the kitty shelter so the kitties wouldn't get all wet when they came by for food. Even under the shelter it got pretty wet, but not on the wooden plank. Several cats have been by so I think they are happy for a dry place to sit and eat. Hope you all are well! Purrs and a
