	My name came from the Lord of the Rings movie!! Legolas. Since they compare the character in the movie as being very cat like my meowmy thought it was very fitting! (even if i am a girl!!)

	My name came from Ireland. Meowmie got me as a foster kitty when I was 10 weeks old and named Sammy. I stayed Sammy until meowmie adopted me about 3 months later. Meowmie always wanted a kitty named Seamus so the transition from Sammy to Seamus (pronounced Shay-muss) works - especially when meowmie and daddy call me Seamie (Shaymee) MOL. My brofur, Aslan, got his name because he's a big Maine Coon that looks like Aslan from Narnia which is cool because Aslan is actually Turkish for Lion. Zoee was named by her original mom and knows her name as Zoee, Zoester, Zo-baby or Zoobadoo. She will come to all of those. She won't come to anything else so I think she's pretty smart. She's also orange and neurotic. Josie got hers because meowmie had just overheard someone talking about Josie and the Pussycats when she found Josie in their yard. She's Josie THE Pussycat!!! hhehee Tanner got his name because he was the only boy of a litter of 6 that had a tan undercoat to his tick tabby markings. It totally fits him. Licorice got her name because she is all black with long hair and she's so pretty! Meowmie trapped her when she was a feral kitten and humanized her, then she got adopted out but the people gave her back 2 years later. She's now very skiddish (the people were never home and she lived under their bed) but loves her daddy! Olivia got her name because she was Phantom (pretty calico with half a white face) when meowmie had her as a foster kitty but then when meowmie adopted her she said - naw, she looks like Olivia. Meowmie and daddy call her Livvy for short, which she answers to. Meowmie isn't allowed to foster any more by the way MOL

	I got my name because I'm all black and mom wanted a name that was related to the color black (Obsidian & jet were other options, but Onyx suited me best). Cinder got her name in a similar way. She was all black and my human sis read a book with a kitty named Cinders. Mom didn't like the "s" so she became Cinder. Horus was named by dad. He likes the name and wanted to name a pet Horus, but since me & Cinder were girls, he couldn't use it before. Blackie was also named by dad. Mom was feeding a bunch of feral cats outside our building and befriended one of them. Last summer she went to visit her grandpa for a few days so had to do the feeding. Blackie would come to the window looking for pets and dad was tired calling her "the black one" so just started calling her Blackie. Can you tell that our pawrents like black kitties? One of the tenants named Rose because she was so beautiful. When Rose died and we adopted Daisy, that same tenant's daughter wanted a flower name in honor of Rose, and we added May because that's the month she was adopted in.

	I have some orangy/gold fur on my tummy that looks like the crayola color maize - and Mom wanted something girlie, so I got named Maizy

	Dad named me. I kind of tend to be real excited & bounce all over the place, so "bouncy trouncy fun fun fun" the wonderful thing about Tiggers is I'm the only one! and it really does fit cuz I tend to be pretty crazy!!

	I got my name because I'm a striped cat my owners thought it was funny I was 1 or 2 days old when they got me my mommy got ran over I was so lucky now i like to put plastic bags over my food
