Oh my gosh, mom has a list of her favorites..... but has no idea of "categories" they would fall into... Here are a few, in no particular order:

Constantine
The Princess Bride
Memento
Shrek
Shaun of the Dead
Serenity
Silverado
Any (old) Godzilla movie
All the Planet of the Apes movies
All the great B "horror/monster" movies (you know, with titles like "The Monster from Under the Sea!")
Blazing Saddles (it came free with the first video cassette player her parents ever bought!)

That's enough for now!

Pooh Bear

not sure on the categories...
Foreign..??
Comedy -The Holy Grail, Blast from the Past, Whole Nine Yards, The Run Down, Shrek, Blazing Saddles
Disney - Aristocats
Action - Bourne Identity, Bourne Supremacy, Fight Club, Triple X, The Dirty Dozen, The Recruit, Troy, Mr. and Mrs Smith, Pirates of the Carribean, my goodness...I cannot list just one.
Fantasy - Riddick, The Lord of the Rings (all 3), Scorpion King, Alien verses Predator, Underworld, Blade, my...same thing
Drama - Hunt for Red October, Gone with the Wind, The Godfather, No Way Out.
Suspense/thriller - Sixth Sense, the Village, Signs
hmmm, I don't know if I have the categories right, but it is hard to list just one favorite.

Another cute one is Second Hand Lions, also Ice Age (both of them)

We like the old black and white movies; some silly ones like the day the earth stood still, forbidden planet, stuff like that, the ten commandments we have to watch it every year ; even tho we've seen it like 25 times already, we would like to see the one travolta just did, it's a comedy but can't remember the name, if anyone's seen it, a review would be helpful......the preview showed him flying into a crow or vice versa while he is trying to ride a motorcycle....maybe tim allen was in it too? shrug
