I was good all night! And when the alarm went off I just made little noises instead of my usual banshee noises. I mean, it's important that they get up when the alarm goes off, but they don't do it right away so I help.

Good for you, Khina! I had my second good night in a row, too. Mommy thinks it was because of my laryngitis, but it could be that I was just good. We'll think that one.

I've got my voice back, so we'll see what tonight brings!

The funny thing is, by the time the alarm goes off, I'm ready to cuddle in bed.

Yeah... I'm ready to cuddle about a half an hour after the alarm. But you really must take your job of waking up the people seriously. They count on us!

I played REALLY hard today and only took a short nap, so I should be really really tired tonight. WAY too tired to bug any people.

My daddy got me in the habit of waking up at 5:40. Then, he worked from home for a while, and was able to sleep later. You're right, Khina; how are we supposed to know about these changes? Now, daddy works from home on some days, but he usually commutes. How do I know which days he's going to get up at 5:40 and which days it's 7:00?

Fortunately, my sweet mommy gets up with me no matter what time and keeps me quiet (so daddy can get his sleep).

I tried to wake everyone up at 6am today, but mommy curled up with me on the couch and I went back to sleep.

I woke Mummy at 5am today...and 5:30am...and 6am...and 6:30am...

Oh Alaidh! I did that this morning too! After finding that I chewed through her bra strap (human: I SWEAR I put that away) at 7 o'clock she was a little upset and locked me in the bathroom. Oops!

Well, if they'd just GET UP when I want them to!

Oh yes I understand! Finally, I feel like I've found other feline friends who understand! smile I tried meowing but my meows aren't very loud at all so I go for the wet nose right on their nose...laugh out loud They don't like it very much but it's morning and the sun was out! What was I supposed to do??

Xavier, we are so glad you found us! I have been waking up at about 4:20. That's when it is starting to get light and the birds outside are going nuts! Mommy comes downstairs with me and watches me eat and then tries to convince me to cuddle with her. I've got her well trained.

I got Mummy up this morning by just sitting and purring at her. I think she could feel the stare, and she couldn't resist the purr!! I got lots of cuddles at 4am. It was wonderful.
