Hello to all who have joined my new group!!!
I'm Yoshi! My mom named me after the little green dinosaur-turtle creature in the Super Mario Brothers' franchise, but Dad doesn't think that's nearly tough enough for a daredevil cat like myself, so he calls me Yoshimitsu (from the Tekken & Soul Calibur games). When I fight with my brother Mr. Klaw, dad says: "Yoshimitsu was seriosly wounded, but the soul still burns." It's a line from the game.
But anyway, I digress. I just wanted to say thanks for coming. I like being part of something unique like being named for a video game character. It also goes to show that a our humans are pretty darned cool... well "geek-chic" if they're gamers, I guess. I do enjoy gaming. There are a lot of games I don't know about though (like RPG's), so if you recognize any video game names, please go out there and start inviting!

Master Chief

Hi Yoshi! Thanks for inviting me to your cool group. I'm a 2 year old tiger tabby, but turning three soon! I'm very playful and love to sleep, drink from water glasses, and knock things over. My parents named me after a game called "Halo" --they had it picked out for me before I even came to live with them. Mommy says that since daddy spent all of his free time playing Halo he decided Master Chief would be the best cat name ever. Mommy thought it was cute too, but now they usually just call me Chief or Chiefy. When I'm bad (and I'm bad a lot) I get Master Chief. They're weird. They quote the game and talk nonsense about sharks to me and tell me Hooper drives the boat.

Mommy doesn't get on here often, but loves seeing all my kitty friends! Meeeow!

Edited to add: Mr. Klaw is also a cool name for a cat. kitty
