I have an idea. I'll start a story and someone else can add to it, and so on, and so on.

Here goes...

One night, in the middle of the night, Binks, the cat, decided he was bored. All of his people were asleep and Matilda, his sister, didn't want to play. So, he called his friend, Jasper. Jasper said, "hey dude, why don't you come over? I've got some great munchies and a wicked new x-box game - all about chasing mice."

So, Binks silently slinked out of the house and went to see Jasper....

(okay, NEXT!!!!!!)

*Suppose I should continue MOL*

After inviting Binks to come play with him Jasper thought that he should invite all his Night Terror pals! So, he snuck onto the computer and put up a flier on the group board saying "All night terrors welcome to come party the night away at Jasper's place!" He put out a bunch of yummy treats, extra litter boxes, and lotsa tin foil balls [his favorite toy]. He made sure he put everything in the downstairs room so he wouldn't wake his mommy or dog brother Kodi, who probably wouldn't appreciate all the cats that may come over.

Now he waited for all his friends to come over and see what mischief they could create!

There were so many cats in the Little Night Terrors group, that Jasper's neighbors called the police because of all the noise. When the police officers got there, the kitties tied them up with the mini-blind cords they had previously torn down and made them watch "The Adventures of Milo and Otis" until they cried. At that point, the police realized that the kitties needed the party and told the neighbors to get earplugs. They sprung for a keg of tuna juice and some cat nip and told the kitties to have a good time.

Can we still work on the story?

Here is my addition:

" The kitties continued to play video games all night. One of them knew how to play against other people on the internet so he taught them how to log on and they played against people all over the world and they won a lot of games. A tin foil ball tournament took place too, with the first prize of a new catnip mouse being given to Binks. At one point, Jaspers Mommy came downstairs to get a drink. When she saw all of the cats she couldn't believe it!shock 'Jasper! What is going on?!' 'Aw Mom, we are just hanging out! Relax! Go back to bed' said Jasper. 'Ok' said Mom, 'But let me just clean these litter boxes out first and get you guys some cold milk' She scooped out the boxes and brought in saucers of fresh cold milk. Then she went back to bed. The kitties continued to play until the sun started to rise. The party had to break up because they all had to get home so their parents wouldn't be worried. They tried to clean up the play room the best they could before they left, but they couldn't work the broom right and the vacuum cleaner was loud and scary, nobody wanted to touch it! Jasper assured them it would be ok and invited them to come back anytime."

Great job, Oliver! I'll complete it here:

When Binks' mommy found out about the party, she decided to host one, herself. She thought that if Binks had plenty of friends to play with, he would let her sleep. And it worked! However, after the first party, packages started arriving on the doorstep daily. There was the four-story kitty condo, the video catnip movie, even a Marie (from the "Aristocats") stuffed animal, which Binks seemed particularly fond of. From then on, his mommy thought it would be best to turn of the computer before going to bed. The cats seemed to enjoy ordering things online just a little too much; the fact that they had memorized her credit card number was also a bit concerning.

All the other Night Terror mommies realized what a good idea these parties were. So, once a month, the kitties would pack up their little suite cases, hop on Feline Air, and travel to the different parties. It was a bit expensive - and having to hire a maid to clean up after the parties was a must - but the sleep the mommies got was just so incredible.

And because all the police departments had been clued in, no officers had to be tied up or forced to watch "Milo and Otis" again.
