It was New Years Eve a few years back and my dear human slave went to work for her company boss. She was working the graveyard shift and didn't get home til like 9am New years day.
Well I was so upset that she left ME home all alone on NYE  and so I was wondering hopelessly around our little place thinking what trouble I could get into, when there was a nice breeze coming from the laundry so I went to investigate.
When I got there I noticed that the human slave had left the window open by accident, (and the screen off  ) so I decided to jump up on the washing machine across the sink up on the window sill & out the window for a while.
When Slave got home it was 9am and I was no where to be seen she was home for a good 20 minutes before she reliased that I was not on the bed with her, after searching the home she went outside and called me, noticing that I was over the road under a fence, looking very scared, she called me and I would not come, she went home and got a can of my favorite food, that enticed me out.
So I ran home and there was also food in my bowl, I was so happy and felt safe, she went to bed, I finished my breakfast and went and jumped on the bed with her, I then waited til she was asleep & snuck under the doona with her even though I am not supposed too.
When Human slave woke up I was under the doona & had my head on the pillow like she did, surprisingly she didn't tell me off or get me out, I think she was just so happy to have me home safe & sound that I could get away with anything that day. after all it was New Years Day.
