Mom here: I've never laughed so much as I did with these cats and their gifts. Pepper and Pants got their gifts this past week and we finally opened the box yesterday. Whoever sent my cats those catnip mats was ingenious. My cats played for hours last night and when I woke up this morning they were back at them. I wish I had caught it all on video. All four cats eventually got in on the act. At one point in time Pepper claimed both mats for himself and hissed at anyone who would come near either of them. Summer managed to sneak the little catnip pillow away from Pepper and chewed/licked/tossed it around for a while. Then Pants fianlly got his mat away from Pepper and licked the poor thing to death. The whole mat was soaked from his licking. Pants finally scrunched the mat up in his paws and beat the thing with his back feet, then promtly fell asleep on it. Winter tried to pull the mat away from Pants while Pants was asleep on it and nearly scared the wits out of him. What a good time. They loved thier other gifts too, but the mats were by far their favorite! We don't know who our secret santa is yet, but thank you in advance!!!! Now we jus have to wait for Summer and Winter's gifts... We can't wait!
