Okay, you asked for me to share my interesting potty tales. You asked for 'em, you got 'em!
This one happened in the middle of the night. Since we live in a building for disabled and elderly people, each apartment's bathroom has a cord to pull in case of emergency. Mommy had it tied up, because she was sure she would never use it. Well, one early morning, I went in there and sat on the human litterbox and started batting at the cord. It was so much fun that I got kinda carried away, and all of a sudden this weird alarm noise went off! It was 4:30 a.m. Usually when Mommy wakes up to make her trip, and she was debating whether she had to or not, and the alarm got her up! She didn't think it sounded like the fire alarm, but she opened the front door anyway. She didn't see anything, so she decided maybe it will shut up in a few minutes, so while she was up, she made her "trip" and when she looked over toward the wall, she saw that red light flashing fron the cord. Boy did that freak her out! She got up and started pacing, which she does when she's nervous or mad. She was hoping nobody had called 9-1-1, then she figured out how to turn the thing off, which was good, that noise was disturbing my eating and litterbox thing! She started pacing again. Honestly, I think she could walk miles with all the pacing she does!
Well, it seems that nobody called 9-1-1, and she was glad, although, had this been a real emergency, she wondered what would happen.
She paced for well over an hour until she calmed down enough to go back to sleep. I tried to cuddle with her, and she shoved me away! For two days after that, she shoved me away from her! Finally she forgave me.
For six months after that, the bathroom was off limits to me. She had the door closed, but she knew how talented I am at sticking my paws under the door and jiggling it open! So she took a big box of litter and put it in front of the door!
After six months, she was sick of always having to move the box, so she decided to trust me again and opened the door for good! I was thrilled! I did bat at the cord, but when Mommy heard it, she scolded me and then she taped the cord to the wall!
Well, about a year or so later, the apartment owners and fire dept were making their rounds to make sure the building and all the apartments were up to code and safe, and they said that Mommy couldn't keep the cord tied or taped anymore. Now it's just hanging there, but Mommy hid it behind the towel bar so that she, or I don't trip on it, or that I won't bat at it or chew it or something.

Well you sure live up to your noisy name Squeakers! Even if your name makes you mannifest other disturbances in your life! It is good that your mommy forgave you. Most of the time, we need to be disiplined but our mom figures that we are innocent and don't know any better! Boy! do we ever fool her! I am just like you Ambrosia, I don't touches my poop!! I don't cover mine either because I am just too dainty and sterile.

Wow! That's a really neat story! I don't have a cord like that, but if I did, I think it would be a really fun thing to play with!

My brother and I mostly just get up on the bathroom counter and knock things down on the floor to play with. That always makes mama call me Ian Joseph, which means she's irritated with me! I don't mind, tho!

We just go with Mama because we worry that she'll get stuck or lost or something, so we want to make sure she gets out of there and back to the kitchen to feed us!

I just drank out of the toilet tonight! Mommy was sitting, then got up, and even before she could pull the handle, I peeked in! I even went further. I have done than before, but then I almost started to drink, and I have never done that before! Mommy quick pulled the handle and I watched all the cool water come up, so I drank the fresh water! Wow, I really must have been thirsty, cuz I do have a water fountain in the kitchen, but I had to have a new experience, I guess. Plus Mommy needed to clean the fountain.
I drank and drank, and then Mommy went and pulled me away! Spoilsport! I went back for more, but she went and put the lid down and then went and cleaned out my fountain.
Toilet water is better, but the fountain is always running.

the other night, the poop machine and i were chasing each other around the house. i always enjoy a good play in the bathroom with my toys, so the puppy followed me in with one her toys. we played a bit more and i guess we played a bit too hard cause we got the door to close on us. we were in there a little while, but stopped making noise, so mom didnt know until she walked by later and found the bathroom door closed (she was by herself, so she wouldnt have closed it). the door had a big enough crack open that she could see my eyes peeking out at her. she laughed and let me out, then opened the door to where it usually is and saw the puppy was in there too, then she laughed so hard she cried. (we chase each other around, but to be locked in a tiny space together and not fight or make any noise at all... amazing).

Hee~Hee! My Brother, Junior (398047) likes to climb into Momma's jeans (or her Jammies, see photo on his page!) when she is on the Potty! she says it was "Cute", when he was a baby, but that he is too large to do this now! (He has a hard time turning around, there, so sometimes he scratches her legs!) Does AnyBuddy else do this trick???kittywink

Hi,
I'm new here and just wanted to share my bathroom tails!
The bathroom was my favorite place (next to sitting on the windowsill). Nobody ever went to the bathroom without me. If for some reason I was delayed in getting there right away, I would come running when I would hear the toilet flush or the water go down the bathtub drain. There was just something about swirling water that really got me excited. Meowmy never took a bath alone, 'cuz I loved to walk along the edge of the bathtub or hide behind the shower curtain and play peek-a-boo. Meowmy always said that most cats come running when they hear the can opener, but I always came running when I heard the water in the bathroom.
Oh, and I absolutely loved to unroll and chew on the TP. Our bathroom door was usually always closed too, for some reason! thinking
