Alright, so I know that with Thanksgiving recently over and more celebrations to come, we may all be filling out a little around our middles. That's ok. We all need to celebrate! Just remember to keep up on some of the excersises.
The holidays gives us lots of opportunities to spy on our humans and learn a little about their odd behavior. It is our responsiblity to protect them (even if they think it's the other way around!), and the best way to do that is to understand them.
In order to be better spycats, lets share what we find out about our humans durring this time.
What holidays do they celebrate? what are some of their unusual traditions? Do they include their most wonderful felines in the celebrations? Any odd behavior you are witnessing lately?
what are some of their unusual traditions? well, mommy has put all sorts of holiday toys around the house, but when I play with them she tends to get a bit upset---beats me---why did she put them out then???---she calls them decorations! Pfft I wish she would get that tree though so I can sleep under it and spy from there!!!
Also, she wrapped the house up in lights on the outside and was upset with daddy for not helping much--he would rather play with his tool toys!
Do they include their most wonderful felines in the celebrations? They include us in everything!!!!
Any odd behavior you are witnessing lately? Well, Stress--oh and mommy keeps putting load christmas music on during the day--sometimes she ever wants to dance with me! Yuck!
Hi guys!!
This is the first holiday season I am spending with my People. Last year was not very much fun cause soon after that I was left at the shelter with my sister. But I do remember having a tree! I LOVE having a tree indoors! I don't climb it, I just want to sit under it and keep it safe.
I haven't seen too many strange things happening that I can attribute to the holidays. I sure am going to keep close watch though!
What are some of their unusual traditions? Well, as long as I've been here (This is my 4th Christmas with these folks), they put up a sparkly tree, decorate it with lots of breakable stuff and then watch Fortitude and me like hawks. Neither of us is too interested in the fake tree--we start to take notice when real wreaths, table decorations and fireplace decorations appear. ( Even I can't resist that pine-tree smell!)
Do they include their most wonderful felines in the celebrations? You betcha! We're the official "Children" of the house...and as they say, Christmas IS for children... We get to taste a lot of the interesting foods they consume...last year I even tasted egg nog! * And we get presents under the tree! Grandma said that she's never seen such pure joy as when we got our first Christmas catnip toys. Fortitude and I were pleased to oblige ; ) (And we were joyful, too!)
Any odd behavior you are witnessing lately? Yes. Boxes delivered by a guy in a big brown truck are quickly signed for and then hidden away... (But I know where they are!)
