Hi gang- I hope you won't think I'm toooooooo weird; but my mommy got me when I was approx 8 or 9 weeks old. I was a feral kitten born to a feral mom. I learned relatively well how to interact with my new siblings. When it came to interacting with the 2 leggers though I remained relatively aloof unless I was attacking their feet or tripping them. Then my brother Spotty died & now I want to give purrs & get petted like he did. I'm very skittish though & if they stop petting me then I bite. My mommy got me to sit on her lap the other day for the 1st time & it made her very happy. She still can't pick me up though unless it's by my scruff, cause otherwise I'll scratch her all up. Have any of you ever experienced anything similar?? I want to make up for all of the attention I've been missing; but I don't know how to get it! Thank you all.

I was never feral but my big brother Rainbow was. Mom kept trying to find things that he loved and spent lots and lots of time with him. She eventually figured out Rainbows' most favorite toys and the treats he loved the best. I think they bonded. Just keep giving more and more and more love and give him tons of attention until you know what he loves! He will give in to the loving.
P.S. Find his "spot" too. That worked for me! (My 'spot' is right behind my head!)
