omg - I recognized the line from a card I recently got from a friend featuring a black kitty on the front. It was a "fathers day" card written to appear that was sent from Luna - it's one of my favorites.

In response to your question: That piece of wisdom has been passed down from one feline generation to another--it's only recently that the humans became wise to it. Sure, they'll claim it's from some "anonymous wise person", but we all know the truth.
