BONITA'S MOM NEEDS MORAL SUPPORT~~

	From Bonitas' Mommy: I took Bonita to the vet this morning because she had a sniffly nose and wasn't eating. He looked at the place in her mouth where she had the dental surgery (2 abcessed teeth removed) a few months ago. He showed me the spot and he thinks it is a squamous cell cancer that has grown over the place. It looks so awful! No wonder she doesn't want to eat...she acts hungry, but everything (even baby food) hurts her mouth. I knew this day would come some day, and I also knew I'd never be ready for it. He's supposed to call me back this afternoon with the report on the smear/slide he took from her mouth. I'm almost sure I know what it is going to be. He said there might be aggressive treatments like radiation...but at her age (19!!) he didn't know if she could handle it. I wouldn't want to put her through anything like that, and certainly not more surgery to try to remove it...when they might have to remove part of her jaw and even part of her NOSE, he said!!! I'm very distressed and sad...just need some other kitty moms to help me out.... Thanks... Bonita's loving mom Mew, we are here fur mew. Meowmie is sending purrayers by the red hawk spirit. he takes them to heaven. And she asked The Furry Angel Gang to ask their fureinds in the Rainbow Country to purray too. If the time comes, they want mew to know that he will be looked after. They will look fur him pursonally to welcome him.
