	What's your view of kitchen counters? Do you go up there?

	Never! Mommy has never seen me try to get up there and that's cause I don't try! I was taught as a youngster that it's a big no no. My sister Miss Mittens didn't go on the kitchen counter and neither did Abby. Mom's kitties Pete and Jennifer -- ah! now that's an entirely different story! Mommy let them do whatever they wanted to do.

	human puts my kitty grass up there when "it-is-not-yet-fully-grown-wait-girl". so - what do you think: go i up or not...? who is "allowed" to walk over the kitchen table has no limits, the least the kitchen counter

	Well, I did goe up a few times and found out that's not acceptable. (I'm shupposing to her.) Shtill, I occasionally pop up there and gets in trouble. I loves to watch all the commotion on the shtove, but it drives mom bonkers, she thinks I'll get hurt.

	I rarely go up there--not because I'm not "allowed" to (technically, I'm not), but because it's a big jump and it's not that interesting. If I do go, it's just to glance out the window. I'm not interested in the stove, and I know it's dangerous.

	don't we all have nice personnel to care for our safety - even if that's not necessary?! human once had friends who were criticizing her for "allowing" me to explore the kitchen counter for hygiene reasons. she answered that since "the invention of water, soap and sponge" she'd see no problem and smiled, 80% honeysweet and only 20% ironically. she told me that those certain "critics" when they invited her for cooking, gave her a potholder in 1980s dessin that surely never saw the washing machine in its 3 decades. human came home telling me that apparently "ancient cultures already knew tomato sauce"... compared to my clean(!) kitty paws on the regularly cleaned counter, well... we. laughed. tears. it's not what they say - it's who says it!
