our son gave this book to us for Christmas - it is an amazing concept of going back to change history.

Very detailed and so far, facinating -

has anyone else heard of it?

No, we don't usually read Stephen King. This one sounds interesting, though. Did you like it?

Incidentally, Mom was just up at the Stanley Hotel, which was King's inspiration for The Shining. There used to be a "pet cemetary" as in the King book. It had real pets of the former owners of the hotel. Mom asked about it, but it has been allowed to grow over and the markers are all gone.frown But they still make a big deal about The Shining at the hotel, even though the movie wasn't filmed there.

Haven't finished as it is a Huge book. That is really interesting about the hotel - the Shining was one of his best books, I think.

Mom got to stay at the Stanley for TWO WEEKS some years ago for a Leadership Conference. There were many stories about haunted rooms. eekeekeek

Half way through.

At first, there was a part we didn't like and thought that would be the sort of book it was going to be - Stephen King can be a bit "off" -

But, it is not at all and a Great book - totally enjoyable and so far, recommending it!

Sarge, what is the name of this new book? Some of his books I really like, others, not so much. His short stories were fantastic.

That's the title - you can read reviews on Amazon - am almost done and have to say I wish I could read more.

This is definately well written - it is not a typical Stephen King book, at least of the ones that went a bit "off". It has it's moments, but they are all relative.

There are EIGHTEEN requests ahead of me but I went ahead and put in my request for the book. I did read some of it on Amazon and it was really interesting. Thanks for telling me about it.
