 | | | | Ricky got a good report from our vet today.
Our vet said that Ricky's lungs sound really good, that they have the normal healthy sounding swish to them when he breathes. He said to stop giving him the Terbutaline after four more days. So on Sunday no more Terbutaline. Then he said to watch him very close. After he finishes the antibiotic medicine I'm supposed to call the office and let them know how he is. At that point a decision will be made about the Prednisone pill. If he is doing good the Prednisone pill will either go to every other day or a reduced daily dose. Plus, I'm supposed to keep the Terbutaline on hand all the time, just in case.
The vet said that since we can't figure out what triggered this there is a chance that it could be the start of a continuing problem. Or it could also be a one time episode and never happen again.
Needless to say, I pray it never happens again.
So things are going good. | | | | |
