um.....ok, now for my sentence.confusedthinking.....thinking. 'K, here it is:

Nan and Mike the Saint Bernard dog have an item, an oboe named George, to sail with on a boat after they tare the scales to see if the dog is too heavy.

(Mommi learned "tare" in her science classes. It means to zero out.)
