Welcome to our anniversary party! Can’t dally long tho’, as I have come to sweep my wife off to a wonderful second honeymoon in La Belle France! My mommy went there and found great places for us to go!

M ommy says Mont St. Michel is the most beautiful place she’s ever seen. It’s a tiny island off the coast of Normandy, with a historic abbey on top and a tiny village at the bottom. In historic times, people had to brave the tides, quicksand, and fog to get there, but now there’s a road. We will spend a few days visiting with the French kitties who live there (mommy got a postcard with all their pictures on it!), touring the island, and watching the tide come in from the walls. Also lots of nummy food there, and fun tourist shops!
But you can’t spend ALL the time in Mont St. Michel…it’s really small. So onward we will go to a famous historical place…the final resting place of one of Ticia and MomKatt’s favorite historic figures, Henry II. Fontevraud Abbey is quiet and peaceful, with beautiful gardens and fascinating historic buildings!
