	Delta has 10,00 therapy dog owners and many are therapy reading dogs. It looks like there are a multitude of smaller therapy dog programs that have Delta-like training. Julie Hauk, a Sheboygan, WI, teacher started her own program with her trained therapy reading dog, Preston. The kids reading ability and motivation to read has grown substantially. And I hear similar things from many of the owners and programs we support with our Planet Of The Dogs series. Dafi

	Reading has always been important in our family. Our boys started looking at picture books when they were infants and read to this day - it is the best gift to give a child, a love of reading.
