In an sequel to the money question, how about coins? Which presidents are on:

Penny
Nickel
Dime
Quarter
Half Dollar
Dollar (1971-78)

Bonus Question: Why was the president on the dime chosen for that denomination?

Have any of you got any of the new presidential dollar coins? I got one in change the other day, it was Zachary Taylor.

Penny - Abraham Lincoln
Nickel - Thomas Jefferson
Dime - Franklin D. Roosevelt
Quarter - George Washington
Half-Dollar - John F. Kennedy
Dollar - Dwight D. Eisenhower

I don't know all the particulars on the Dime and FDR. FDR was stricken with polio in 1921 at the age of 39 and became involved in "The March of Dimes" to raise funds for the fight against polio.

I didn't know there were new presidential coins either!
