Macy, I'm purring for you, and I'm glad you're updating us on your condition. I hope analyzing that stone helps get to the bottom of your problems! If that bump on the side knocked it loose, and they can figure out a plan to prevent such stones in the future or dissolve any others you might already have, that would be one very good thing coming out of your latest problems. What a pain to have to go through this, though!

I'm also purring that Adam Dylan is feeling a lot better now. hug to both of you!

Thank you Cow Cat, I am really hoping that is what happened or maybe it was a stone that was so small they didn't catch it the first time. I will feel better once he starts giving me full pees again.

Adam Dylan is still having trouble, now with his antibiotics which have given him bad diarrhea. He is being treated with an injectable anti-diarrhea medicine and Prednisolone to settle down the inflammation in his intestines, and his little bottom is very sore. He also is on special food. Adam, we are purring hard for you to feel better and less sore very soon - by the end of today, hopefully! hughug

We are purring very hard for you Monkey I hope all is well and you get to the bottom of it. We also have four in our family but 3 of us are from the same family (furmum and 2 grown kittens) we (all 3 of us) have had the dreaded crystals so Balty (the 4th cat) now eats the food too, even though he doesn't need it. They do say it's not good to eat the prescription food if you don't need it. Some say it can cause other crystals, and some people say it's ok. So who knows, but Balty is 19 now (20 in a few months) so I think it'll probably help his kidneys, so that's why we are all on the food at our house. It makes it very handy for us.

New member Gleek needs purrs right now. After blocking this morning, he's in the hospital with newly diagnosed struvite crystals. He has a catheter, which he hopes will come out and stay out tomorrow, so he can go home and enjoy the weekend. Let's all purray that this is the case for him, and that he'll have an uncomplicated recovery. hug
