SHELTER- DOGS- ROCK!

Christmas Day 2008

Up on the rooftop snowflakes lightly fall,
In the back yard, I am chasing my ball,
Mom's in the kitchen she sure is no rookie,
Decked out in her apron she's baking dog cookies!
The birds in their cage are both chirping and singing,
The house with the sound of bird joy is just ringing!
Dad's hard at work out front clearing the walk,
And I am so happy, I think I might talk!

And If I could talk, I know just what I'd say,
"May all creatures on Earth know such peace EVERY day!"
