Boy am I glad Halloween is over. One of my sisters was playing scardy cat all evening. She was very skiddish when the little ghosts came to the door. As for me, I was lurking in the dark bushes watching from afar until Mom said the coast was clear to come in.

Your old furte paws are making me smile and this "happy News and Mews" link is (as Guido the Italian Kitty would say "Meowvalous"! ! I turned 13 on Halloween so it's a big day for me fur sure. Thanks Scooter and all of you who sent me fantasticat birthday greetings. Got nice gifts and The Boys left me alone - purrfect gift. I even PURRportedly may be engaged ! Woo hoo and Yeow Meow - see it's never too late. I wouldn't call us "geriatricats" - we're mature with pawsative outlooks!

I rolled on my red tabby tummy at the story of someone catching a squirrel and putting it in their humans tubs! WOW - that scenario is only in my wildest dreams cuz we're condo kitties in San Francisco. Guido gets squirrelly but that's about it!

I'm so glad Halloween is over so I can get out of my costume and get back to being my diva self. Gotta dash into a catnap -

Hallowe'en night there were firecrackers going off all night. What's so good about this, you may ask? Well nothing really, except that I'm deaf so it didn't bother me at all!!

He is still furry tired and fragile, but we are hoping he will get better every day.

My happy mews is that I am healthy!
Mommy took me to the vet yesterday and had me checked out. My heart is great, my lungs sound great, my thyroid is good and my blood tests show I am healthy! Mommy is so furry happy but still wonders why sometimes I act all furty. So mommy will try to get a poopy & urine sample to the vet to make sure those are good too. So fur now Im a happy & healthy 16 year old!

My happy news is my Mum when to petsmart and got us a bunch of presents. And I got a heated bed! Whoopee! Molly got a new scratcher pad. And the barn kitty got a heated bed too. They are supposed to be for Christmas but I bet I am sleeping in my new bed by Thanksgiving.wink
