I am a fairly new member, but lately seems like most of the threads are about one of us losing a family member. I think it is time for some happy news. I will start. "Every morning when my Mom steps out of the shower, there are at least three of us waiting to get into the bath tub. Pokey sits in the tub moisturizing her bottom, I jump in the tub to get a drink of warm water from the spout and my baby sister sits on the edge of the tub wondering what she is suppose to do."happy dancelaugh out loud

I got on the counter and got in the maple iced cinnamon rolls. wink

Not as good as a heated bed but pretty darned good!

The bonus is that my mum has also ordered a second large heated bed (the dog sized one) so my sisters can use that and not steal my new bed. They like snuggling up together (see Gogo's page http://www.catster.com/cats/787022 ) so the big bed will be purrfect for them.

Mr Tigger I think your idea for this thread is a good one.

I love to play ball with Mum and the vet tells it's keeping me healthy in my old age but there is one catch I like to do it at 12 midnight when mum is ready for bed.

And I got my Halloween costume yesterday ... I PURRky witches hat with fabucat colors not just basic black. I opted out of the red she devil cape and pleaded with Momma to find something that wasn't made for a teenager! What are you all wearing on Friday???

Good Meowie to everyone. I like to start my day out positive too. I hope we can keep this thread going for a while. My little sister "Zippy" is truly a mess. She has so much energy. I love tusseling with her in bed before Mom gets the bed made.

Great idea, Mr. Tigger. It gets so sad here sometimes -- the nature of being a group of Olde Furts -- but we still know how to have some fun, too.

Minxy, I think you'll love your heated bed. Which one did you get?

Baci, I probably won't be wearing any costume for Halloween but I love to see what everyone else is wearing. Cute hat you're wearing!

Ka- zar, I like to start my day early, about 4 a.m., by standing on Mom's pillow, giving her whisker kisses and purring in her face.

Patrick, last night I got on the counter, too. Mom leaves some dry food out for me whenever she leaves the house, but she's been putting it up on the counter overnight and while she's home so that I eat my canned food instead. I seldom get on the counters anymore, but last night I used a nearby chair to get on the counter and get to my dry food. laugh out loud

shh I know what I am getting for Christmas, and Momma said I can have mine early!! It is a Tranquilty Blanket (as I know many of you probably have). I should get it any day now. But don't tell my sisters, cause they don't know! shh

Also, we had our first freeze last night, and my heated pad was so nice and warm. Momma was even nice and covered me with a blanket, so I was furry warm and comfy all night!

Also, Momma is being naughy right now and is on Catster at work. dancing
